As we are in a quiet and green residential affluent suburb of Charbonnieres les Bains with the preservation of the environment in mind, the house is well situated in the village.
We are less than 5 minutes walk from the well stock village groceries store, restaurant, SNCF electric tram (direction Saint Bel to Lyon St Paul - UNESCO Vieux Lyon or metro/subway Gorge de Loup; connected to the transport network of lyon city), pharmacy, cinema, doctor, butcher, bakery, the well reputed Croix Laval park on the affluent side of Lyon.
Students usually go shopping at Carrefour Ecully by car, or to the Centrale School of Engineering at Ecully. There are hiking trails nearby if you like the nature.
